Had a crap awful shift at work last night. I swear, every one on shift had PMS or something. Yeah, yeah, I know that was sexist, but how can it be sexist when you are using it to describe the way men are acting? Okay, fine. How about 'everyone had a stick up their ass'?

Whatever.

It was a shitty night and I just wanted to go home, pop some Advil and get some sleep. But naturally, I had to get some groceries 'cause about the only thing in the apartment was stale Doritos and some root beer that Hodges left when he came over to play that stupid Dukes of Hazzard game (don't ask). Okay, ask. So I play that stupid game with him from time to time. Guess who's evidence gets moved to the top of the stack now? Sure I still have to listen to what he claims is 'acerbic wit' - but which is actually just verbal abuse from a guy who has permanent PMS stick up his ass, but hey, if I can get stuff faster I can get to CSI2 faster...

Anyway, point is I had to get groceries. So I head over to the store. FIrst the damn coffee place is not only not open, the sign says it'll be closed all day due to some water leak or something. And I am all out of Blue Hawaiian. And the only other place that carries it is right the fuck across town and I know that it won't be open for another two hours. I want to be in dream land by then... Fuck!

After a quick trip to Starbucks (if you tell ANYONE I will hunt you down and kill you. Only a CSI1 but I can still get rid of a body just fine, thanks) to get enough beans to get me through tonight, I head to Winn-Dixie. And who do I run into? Mrs. James. Mrs Mom of Demetrius James.

Yeah. Fuck.

I managed to get away without any real interaction, though she did manage a major sneer at what I had in my shopping cart (so I like Twinkies. Shut up.), and am now home. And my cable seems to be on the blink.

I need a trip to NYC. Visit Don and hang with people who are actually cool.

Wonder if Grissom'd approve it if I asked for a few days off...
